LOCATION PICTURES

We try to take pictures to capture the unique character and historical value that each location holds. From the creepy decorations that the owners and managers add to the aged infrastructure and craftsmanship. We hope that by sharing the images, history and websites of each location that our viewers will understand the importance of supporting these places so that the historical value can be preserved and shared. Although we are always looking for evidence of the paranormal we are also here to share our love of the history and we hope you will support us and these beautiful places by watching our videos and donating to, or visiting the locations!

Villisca Axe Murder House

This haunted building is a well-known haunt in the Midwest. The tragic and unsolved murder of 8 people in 1912 has made this house the center of paranormal investigations for years. We visited this house and stayed overnight capturing a lot of interesting evidence, including a conversation with someone we believe may have been the killer or pretending to be the killer! Those videos are out now on our YouTube channel! Click here for more in depth history on this iconic location and click through the photos below to see pictures from inside and out of the home.

Beattie Mansion

Built in 1854, this historic mansion is absolutely huge and so, so beautiful! The property manager is an absolute delight and very knowledgeable about all of the history and will absolutely give you the most in depth tour you could ask for! We had an amazing time touring and caught some amazing evidence during our overnight stay. We didn't want to leave, but we will definitely be back! Click through the photos below to see some of the pictures we took. For the history of this building and to book your own tour or stay click here

The Stephenson Building

This historic building located in Wymore, Nebraska has been through many life changes! From an alleged hideout of Al Capone who used the tunnels underneath the town and building to transport bootlegged alcohol, to an apartment building and now a haunted attraction and growing oddities museum! The owner pours her heart and soul into restoring the building and encouraging the town to restore the other buildings. When we say we love history and especially the preservation of history this is what that means! This town and building is rich with not only history but spirits as well! This location is definitely worthy of a road trip but, you can see a sneak peak by clicking through the photos below! You can reach out to book or tour or donate to the preservation efforts by heading to their Facebook or clicking here.

The Stinky Beans

As most of you know, our name comes from a particular stinky bean, so every time we show up to an investigation and are greeted by the actual building managers (aka, the cats) we are delighted. And of course, we would never be able to leave a place with such great caretakers without snapping a few photos. So here are some photos to click through of Mabel (Beattie Mansion) and Mr. Cutie Pie (Stephenson Building).
